Alongside our Kindergarden - Grade 5 STEAMTree programming (outlined on our STEAMTree Camp page), Mount Olivet is hosting two camps, one for currently enrolled Mount Olivet 2 y/o and one for 3 y/o - 5 y/o. Both Mount Olivet Preschool (MOP) camps will follow the schedule outlined below.

Curious Tots/Extended Explorers (Campers Ages 3-5)
Ocean Wonders: June 17-21
Dive right into our underwater exploration. Campers will investigate various sea creatures- from the spiniest of fishes to largest of whales- We’ll take a look at how fish breathe underwater and how they hide through the coral reefs. Come ride the waves of our ocean wonder discovery!
Tiny Travelers: June 24-28
How do we get from point A to point B. There are many ways to travel, you see. We will investigate the world's fastest trains and planes and see what it takes to have a city subway. Campers will dive into a submarine chamber and explore the differences in bikes and busses and motor powered vehicles. Take a journey into transportation with STEAMtree!
Natures’ Nests: Where Animals Rest: July 1-5
From bird nests to underground burrows, campers will explore where animals live and rest. We will discover birds nest and what they are made of. We will design cozy dens for mammal friends. We'll investigate where are the ants marching to. Campers will love taking a deeper look at diverse habitats that earth's creatures call home.
Magic Makers: July 8-12
Campers will have a spellbinding adventure all week long as we embrace the world of magic. We will become young magicians as we explore blend creativity and logic. We will explore numbers using card tricks and investigate the power of illusions. We will use our artistic designs to create costumes and props. How fun it will be to baffle audiences after a week of magical mysteries.
Thinkers & Tynkers: July 15-20
Our littles builders will have a blast as they explore the world of engineering all week long. Campers will enjoy designing bridges and towers. We will investigate various materials as we uncover what makes the strongest foundation. Campers will crave more as they create and construct projects with recycled materials.
Wild West Scientists: July 22-26
Saddle up for a rootin' tootin' adventure at our 'Wild West Scientist' camp! Young pioneers will explore the marvels of science in the spirit of of the Wild West. Campers will explore the gold rush and various advances that helped with the western expansion. From the Oregon trail to Pony Express-join us for a week of frontier fun!
Inquisitive Big Kids (Campers Kindergarten - Grade 5)
Extreme Ecosystems: June 17-21
Have you ever wondered how animals survive in the driest of desserts or the coldest of tundras? Well, take a week to study some of the most extreme habitats in the world and who lives in them. We will learn about living things find food, water, sunlight and so much more. How many biomes can we find when we dig underground or view from the trees. Spend the week unveiling some of nature's coolest environments!

STEAM Under the Sea: July 1-5
Submerge yourselves in our underwater discoveries as we look into the world's largest habitat. We will explore how various sea life thrive in the deep blue seas. From schools of fishes to octopi and crustaceans- let’s find out who is the predator and who is the prey. We will also look at how animals dive in and out of the water or stay deep in the ocean under pressure. We will have a splashing good time!
World Wide Sports: July 29-Aug 2
Campers will begin the countdown to Paris 2024 during this fun filled week where campers will combine their love for sports and science. We will take a look at the human body as it conquers new physical feats. We’ll take time to design and create our own country and represent its flag with pride. Campers will have a blast as we celebrate Olympic traditions and prepare to cheer this year's greatest athletes.
Academy of Magic: July 8-12
Welcome to the enchanted world of magic. Campers will spend the week participating in the world's most mysterious school of magic. They will create the proper wizard wardrobes and a few mystical artifacts. They will investigate the world of potion making through chemical reactions. Campers will enjoy using their imaginations to create powerful spells and incantations. Aspiring witches and wizards will discover the history behind the use of common flora and plants. The wizardry world awaits!
Premier Engineers: July 15-20
Spark their curiosity as campers create buildings, and study some of the worlds architectural wonders. Campers will soar through the city skylines as we explore skyscrapers. Campers will work together to design working wind turbines. look at simple machines, and architect cool structures throughout the week!
Transportation Station: July 22-26
All aboard as we dive into the various modes of transportation. Take a peak under the hood as we find the differences between cars, motorcycles and trains. Explore aerodynamics as we investigate planes through different altitudes. Engineer your own submarine as we figure out what materials sink and float. Create the perfect highway infrastructures and Airplane routes to get from point “A” to point “B”. Blow our way through the water with balloon powered boats. This will be a week filled with powerful forces and efficient modes of getting around town.
